Food Labels - Don't be Fooled by Their Tricks

Most people at least occasionally read the "Nutrition Facts" on a food packageā€¦but many times the "facts" are twisted, stretched or downright deceiving.

And ignorance about food labels is definitely not bliss-because you can unknowingly be buying something that is not only not nutritious but harmful to your health!

Here's what you might not know about food labels.

The "Nutrition Facts" shown on food labels are supposed to give you useful information on the nutritional value of what you're purchasing as well as disclose the ingredients so you can decide if it's right for you.

Unfortunately, it's not that cut and dry...  
 

Pomegranate - An Amazing Fruit.

Pomegranate juice is high in vitamin C and potassium, and a good source of fiber that is low in calories. It is mainly used as a health drink.

According to the American Dietetic Association, 3.5 oz of 100% Pomegranate juice equals one fruit serving for diabetics.

Headaches: Different Causes & Remedies

In no other condition is it so important to make a correct diagnosis, since different kinds of headaches require very different treatments.

Your doctor must take the time to ask patients about all the details of their headaches: how often they occur, what time of day, what part of the head is involved, whether pain is throbbing or steady, what makes it better and worse, what other symptoms accompany it, and so on.

Many people who develop headaches fear they have brain tumors, but if you were to list causes of headache in order of probability, brain tumor would be near the bottom.
